DNA is deoxyribonucleic acid , it is the molecule in the living organisms that is responsible for making every species different than the other species and allows its offspring to carry the same characteristics. The DNA is found in the nucleus of every cell of the living organism. The DNA molecule is called the chromosome.
The genes are a sequence of DNA. The gene was discovered by Gregor Mendel (1822-1884) an Austrian scientist, he discovered the genes through his work on the peas starting from the year 1856
