Here are some facts about the human body that many of us don’t know.

Hair and nails:
1- The fastest growing tissue in the human body is hair.
2- The average human scalp has 100,000 hairs, an average person loses about 50-70 head hairs per day.
3- While the eyelash lives about 150 days before it falls out and is replaced. while eyebrow hair lasts between 3-5 months before it falls.
4- Intelligent people have more zinc and copper in their hair.
5- Human hair and fingernails continue to grow after death.
6- Nails grow faster in summer than in winter.
A fingernail grows an eighth of an inch in each month.
Bones:
7- Your thigh bone (femur) is stronger than concrete, it is the strongest bone in your body, and it’s hollow!
8- There are 54 bones in your hands (27 in each) including the wrists.
The human face is made up of 14 bones.
9- The only bone fully grown at birth is located in the ear.
10- The smallest bone in the human body is the stapes bone which is located in the ear.

27- The human body has six pounds of skin which is, on average, 1/20 of an inch thick. A new layer of skin replaces the old layer approximately every 27 days.

Extra Facts:

28- From the age of thirty, humans gradually begin to shrink in size.
29- During pregnancy, the average woman’s uterus expands up to five hundred times its normal size.
30- It is not possible to tickle yourself because the brain is warned through the cerebellum, a part of the brain, so the brain ignores the resulting sensation.
