Protecting yourself form Flu

We are in the middle of the flu season, that it starts in October and last till April.
The following are ways to raise your immunity to avoid the flu, and can also help you to get over the symptoms of cold or flu if you catch it.
** Have plenty of rest.
** Keep exercising not more than 30 minutes a day.
** Avoid kissing in the groupings because it is a usual way to get infected by flu.
** Don’t share utensils.
** Wash your hands as often as possible.
** Do not use your hands to cover your mouth or nose when coughing or sneezing, use disposable tissues when sneezing or coughing and throw them right away.
** Avoid crowded public places and limit your contacts with people you suspect to be infected.
** Eat healthy food such as chicken soup can reduce the inflamation.
** Garlic protects your body from bacteria and viruses, tumeric, cinnamon.
** Fruits, vegetables with Vitamin C (citrus, carrots, apples and chillies) are very important.

** Also green salad or vegetable salad are full of zinc that helps the white blood cells, it helps you overcome the flu.
** Eat some almonds, peanut butter, sunflower seeds,  they contains Vitamin E which increases your immunity.
** Yogurt and other products with live bacteria activate white blood cells that fight with cold and flu viruses.
** Fish that is rich in fatty acids strengthen your immune system in many ways.
** Drink  hot Black Tea or Green Tea,  hot Cinnamon and warm Lemon Juice with honey, would fight the virus for you.
** Dark cocolate keep your immunity system in a better shape.
** Reduce sugar as much as you can because it reduces the immunity of the body, you can replace it by honey that relieves sore throat and coughs.
** Drink a lot of water.
